In bronze, illustrating a soldier on horseback and engraver marked "YOUNG & CO" within a circle, inscribed "SPECIAL CONSTABULARY" above and "MOUNTED" below, reverse illustrating the City of Auckland coat-of-arms, inscribed "AUCKLAND NOV. 1913" above and name engraved "S.D. Currie" below, measuring 29.5 mm in diameter, ring has been re-soldered, edge nicks, light contact, very fine.
