Germany, Heer. An Armoured Division Wartime Photo Album, c.1940

(Heer Fotoalbum) The album is constructed of thick cardstock with dark and light faux leather material for the front and back covers. The spine of the book is embossed in gilt and reads “FOTO”. The interior of the covers is finished with a brown/green cardstock. The pages are of the same brown/green cardstock and the first and last four pages are blank. Some of the photographs within are copies of original photographs. There are a variety of photographs including group photos, field photos and studio portraits. Totaling forty-one photographs. Measuring 205 mm (w) x 260 mm (h), very fine.
