This is a photo album of the participants of the play “Florian Geyer” on 11.6.1939 of their outing to Gerolshausen. It has 18 pages, with a total of 25 mounted photographs, depicting the participants in Gau Mainfranken (Schweinfurt) on their way to the play in Gerolshausen, as well as pictures of the band, and of the play itself. The first page of the album features a schedule of the day’s events; 8:30 - lining up of all participants in the Schrammstraße, 9:00 - march to the Central Station, 9:40 - departure, 11:40 - arrival in Gerolshausen, 14:30 - begin of the play, 17:00 - end of the play, 18:30 march to Gerolshausen train station, 20:00 - Departure of Gerolshausen, 21:44 - arrival in Schweinfurt. The note on the bottom reminds the participants to only board the train car as specified on their ticket and that everyone is responsible for their own food for the day. Furthermore, members of the band and the Werkschar are to appear in full uniform. The album measures 303 mm x 234 mm; extremely fine condition.
