Constructed of bronze, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms, with crossed swords piercing the centre, the quadrants joined by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastika, with a central raised mobile swastika set inside dual rings, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 56.47 mm (w) x 55.72 mm (h), weighing 29.2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
