(Reichsarbeitsdienst Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre). Constructed of cupal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central raised RAD insignia consisting of a shovel head overlaid by a mobile swastika, within wheat stalks, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IM REICHSARBEITSDIENST” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE REICH LABOUR SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 32.52 mm (w) x 44.58 mm (h), weighing 9.6 grams, in extremely fine condition.
