A Thai 2500th Year of Buddha Medal - Silver gilt, tri-cluster in the centre on the obverse, 32.5 mm x 46.2 mm inclusive of its lotus leaf suspension, original ribbon, very light contact, near extremely fine.Footnote: The medal was instituted on May 12, 1957, to mark the twenty-fifth Buddhist Century, celebrated in Thailand from May 12th to the 18th, with a series of ceremonies and events.
