Germany, Imperial. A Heer EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle

(Heer Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of partially silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and laurel leaf branches, the reverse with a loop, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), missing its swivel attachment prongs, in overall very fine condition.
