Germany, Third Reich. A Kyffhäuser League Breast Eagle

(Kyffhäuserbund Brustadler). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a Kyffhäuser League-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, overlaid by a black Cross Pattée, with crossed swords through the centre, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 96 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), age-appropriate tarnishing evident, in overall very fine condition.
