무공훈장武功勳章. Instituted in 1950. (1963-1967 Issue). In bronze gilt with red, white, orange and mid-tone blue enamels, number impressed "63398" on the reverse, measuring 39 mm (w) x 40.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, crazing and/on chipping evident in the white enamels on the arms, loose centrepiece, original ribbon with pinback, fine.
Footnote: The Order of Military Merit was instituted on October 18, 1950 and revised in 1963, 1967 and again in 1973. It was awarded to military personnel, for outstanding conduct during wartime or in a state of emergency, originally in four classes.
