In silver gilt with red, white, blue and green enamels, hallmarked with a boar's head (denoting French manufacture of 900 silver, post 1838) on the laurel tassels on the reverse, marked with a boar's head and maker marked on the obverse of the loop, measuring 55 mm (w) x 82.5 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, on a full-length neck ribbon without ties, scattered chipping evident in multi-coloured enamels throughout on both sides, gilt wear on the obverse centrepiece, near fine.
