Germany, SS. An Early Vehicle Pennant

(SS Wimpel). An early and well-preserved SS vehicle pennant, constructed of a red cotton-blended base, trimmed along the outer edges with woven black threaded piping, each side bearing a white cotton-blended disc measuring 102 mm in diameter, in turn overlaid by multi-piece black mobile swastika, the hoist edge reinforced with a black leatherette strip with a hollow channel, looped through the channel is an original woven suspension cord, unmarked, measuring 315 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), age-appropriate soiling and material fatigue is evident throughout, an early pennant in overall very fine condition.
