In pickled copper, maker marked "DINGWALL" on the reverse, measuring 41.7 mm (w) x 48.2 mm (h), both lugs intact, contact marks and surface wear, better than very fine.
Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Saskatchewan with mobilization headquarters at Wadena under the authority of G.O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 18, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel J.H. Hearnwith a strength of 20 officers and 595 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 15th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
