Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse with a leftward-facing profile of Leopold IV, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST” (“FOR MERIT”), inside of a laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 28.55 mm in diameter, weighing 10.5 grams, in very fine condition.
