Germany, Third Reich. A Sudetenland Medal, with Prague Castle and Ribbon Bars

(Sudetenland-Medaille mit Prager Burg Spange und Bandschnalle). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with Prague Castle Bar and horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length broken chain, above a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central raised daet of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.12 mm in diameter, weighing 18.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon and bar), accompanied by a ribbon bar, constructed of magnetic metal with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 30 mm in length, in overall better than very fine condition.
