Item #M0432-1

$2,501
(AH Bild mit Unterschrift und Bilderrahmen). A large and clear photograph of AH, depicted standing at the front of his Mercedes 770K and saluting a crowd during a parade. He is flanked by his chauffeur, Erich Kempka, and standing in front of a bodyguard in black SS dress uniform, who stares directly into the camera. The lower portion of the image bears AH’s signature and handwritten dedication of “ZUR IMMERWÄHRENDEN ERINNERUNGEN” (“IN EVERLASTING MEMORY”) in black ink. The image measures 156 mm (w) x 205 mm (h) and is pasted to a card stock backer. It is set within a period original silver frame, with a removable backer complete with a stand and navy blue velvet liner. The interior of the frame is similarly lined with identical velvet, and also retains a glass pane. Stamped onto the outer edge of the frame is a mark of “STERLING”, a hallmark, and number of “1496”. The frame measures 216 mm (w) x 270 mm (h). The frame displays an age-appropriate patina, but the image is fully intact and this rare set is in an overall extremely fine condition.
