Germany, Third Reich. A Saxony Fire Defence Service Officer's Belt Buckle; Published Example

(Sachsen): In silvered nickel, toned, unmarked reverse, measuring 48.7 mm, lightly worn, extremely fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 433 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
