Germany, NSDAP. A Golden Party Badge, Small Version, by Deschler & Sohn

(Goldenes Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP). Constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, with a central black enameled mobile swastika on a white enameled disc, within a red enameled ring bearing an inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse stamped with a NSDAP membership number of “44067”, unmarked but with the physical characteristics of manufacture by Deschler & Sohn, Munich, measuring 23.62 mm in diameter, weighing 7.9 grams, the pinback is broken and slight flecking is evident to the enamels, in overall very fine condition.
