Germany, Wehrmacht. A Spanish Cross in Silver with Swords Stickpin, with LDO Package, by Wilhelm Deumer

(Spanienkreuz in Silber mit Schwertern Anstecknadel). A rare Spanish Cross in Silver with Swords stick pin, constructed of a silvered bronze alloy, consisting of a Maltese Cross with swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central raised mobile swastika, the arms joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe-style German national eagles clutching mobile swastikas, the reverse maker marked with LDO code “L/11” for Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 16.07 mm (w) x 16.13 mm (h), accompanied by its period original package of issues, constructed of off-white card stock, the obverse stamped with a black LDO insignia, the reverse with a disclaimer in black script, retaining a catch securely holding the pin in place, measuring 35 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), a rare complete set in extremely fine condition.
