(Spanienkreuz in Silber). Constructed of a nickel-silver plated alloy, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central raised mobile swastika, the arms joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe-style German national eagles clutching mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, the pinback maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “4” for Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 56.51 mm (w) x 57.02 mm (h), weighing 30.3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
