Germany, Third Reich. An AH Platz Street Sign, by Schulze & Wehrmann

(Straßennamenschild). An extremely well-preserved and original AH street sign, constructed of a convex magnetic metal base, each corner perforated with a hole for rivet attachment, the obverse bearing a glazed blue enameled base, with an inscription in raised white Latin script, the obverse bottom left corner bearing a maker’s mark of “GLADIATOR-EMAIL” for the firm of Schulze & Wehrmann Emaillierwerk, Elberfeld, measuring 150 mm (w) x 800 mm (l), with sporadic oxidation and flecking evident, in overall near extremely fine condition.
