An uncommon example in blue grey flyer’s blouse constructed of a cotton/rayon blend, with a notched collar, the collar bears two collar tabs constructed of a royal blue wool base with red piping and a single rank “gull” lay in the centre, the right side of the collar bears a single flat, magnetic, four-hole button and the left side of the collar bears the corresponding stitched reinforced buttoning hole, the centre right bears four flat, four-holed cream coloured buttons, the centre left bears the corresponding four stitched reinforced buttoning holes, the right breast bears an EM/NCO breast eagle, constructed of a blue grey wool base with grey machine embroidered threading, the left breast side is bare, the right side bears a single flapped pocket and the left side bears a single flapped pocket, the left and right sides bear three reinforced stitched holes below the armpit and above the waistline, the waistline at the back bears two rows of stitching, the shoulders bear a single pebbled, magnetic metal shank button, the interior of the collar is lined with a black satin piece, attached with five flat buttons, the left and right interior of the jacket bears a breast pocket, the left breast pocket is partially stamped with “43 B41 129 63”, the waist bears a pull-string allowing for adjustment, the front right interior centre bears a slim pocket, secured with a single flat, magnetic, four-hole button, measuring 480 mm across the shoulders, 580 mm from shoulder to cuff and 665 mm total length; in extremely fine condition.
