A lot of four medals and badges, including a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38.20 mm (w) x 43.25 mm (h), weighing 7.7 grams, with some oxidation evident, in overall very fine condition; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, of loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse with central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse with an unidentified maker’s mark, measuring 38.06 mm (w) x 42.36 mm (h), weighing 16.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition; a Bavarian War Merit Cross, III Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Ludwig II, within a stylized belt bearing an inscription of “MERENTI” (“MERIT”) the twelve o’clock arm bearing a crossed sword clasp,the reverse bearing a central raised Bavarian lion rampant, within a stylized belt bearing an institution date of “1866”, unmarked, measuring 42.46 mm (w) x 49.88 mm (h), weighing 22.6 grams, missing its suspension loop and with oxidation evident, in poor condition, and; a Baden Silver Merit Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Friedrich II, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST” (“FOR MERIT”), the obverse marked with “RM” for Rudolf Meyer, measuring 38.16 mm in diameter, weighing 29.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
