The Mackensen Honour Cross 1st Class certificate was awarded by the Waffenring der Deutschen Kavallerie (umbrella organisation of German cavalry associations) to Friedrich “Fritz” Schwartmann in Essen-Kupferdreh. Dated to Bochum on March 12, 1932. Measuring 247 mm (w) x 184 mm (h), presenting minimal age-related signs of usage, remains near mint.

The honour certificate comes in a lightly scuffed period red binder with the dates 1909 and 1934. The certificate was awarded on occasion of the 25th anniversary of the cavalry association of Kupferdreh and surrounding areas to member Fritz Schwartmann. Dated to June 10, 1934. Measuring 240 mm (w) x 320 mm (h), presenting minimal age-related signs of usage, remains near mint.
