Germany, Wehrmacht. A German Cross in Gold, Cloth Heer Version

(Deutsches Kreuz in Gold). Instituted 28 September 1941. (1941-1945 issue). Consisting of an eight-pointed radiant field-grey wool star with silver wire rays, the obverse centre with a raised black embroidered mobile swastika on a white field, surrounded by a gilt laurel leaf wreath with bottom date of “1941”, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in very fine condition.
