Germany, Third Reich. An Athletic Association (Deutscher Turnerbund) Belt Buckle; Published Example

In silver nickel with gilt face plate affixed by two prongs, unmarked reverse, measuring 29 mm x 42.3 mm, near mint. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 566 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
