Measuring 210x295mm, near extremely fine condition with folding creases and two small holes along the creasing. With a small photo, measuring 48x60mm. The document is written in Latvian. It states that a Latvian member of the Waffen-SS (name and rank indecipherable), born September 10, 1920, has been granted social assistance in the amount of 22 Reichsmark. He presumably joined the SS on May 12, 1943. The document is dated to Riga on July 3, 1943 and signed in pencil by an SS-Untersturmführer, the name is indecipherable. The photo is dated to March 22, 1944. It shows an SS-Unterscharführer.
