A mint SS NCO’s sabre portepee, consisting of a stylized acorn constructed of a twisted and rolled silver aluminum wire nut highlighted with black threading, topped with a black threaded cupule, suspended from a strap constructed of silver aluminum wire, trimmed on each side with dual black machine-embroidered bands, the strap wrapped with a stylized sliding knot constructed of black threading and silver aluminum wire, unmarked, measuring 124 mm in length as presented, in unissued and mint condition.
