An example of a rare and extremely well preserved third reich period flag of the German Christian Fellowship of the municipality of Münster. The flag is constructed of bright red cotton, with countless twisted silver bullion fringes, spanning approximately 38 mm in length on all sides except for the hoist, which is left bear featuring only four metal spring-loaded clips - one clip has rusted and is non-functional. Depicted on the flag on the obverse and reverse, is a large white cotton circle with a two-piece black cotton cross superimposed in the center. In the top left corner on both sides of the flag is a black cotton square surrounded by 9 mm wide silver tress, embroidered “Gemeindegruppe Münster” in fine quality and very thick white machine embroidery. The bottom left corner of the flag features a maker label that is embroidered “Fahen-Fabrik Carl Bauer, Dortmund zur Brückenstraße 50 - Allen Fest und Vereinsbedarf” in golden-yellow threading. It measures 122 cm (w) x 116 cm (h). It is lightly used, with light soiling, but is in overall very fine condition.
