Germany, SS. A Pair of Der Führer Regiment Sturmmann Rank Collar Tabs (pre-1940); RZM Tagged

This is a very well preserved set of pre-1940 Waffen-SS Der Führer Regiment Sturmmann Rank collar tabs consisting of a left and right collar tab; the left collar tab displays two strips of fine silvered bullion wire tightly wrapped around white cord, with black embroidery in the valley between the strips, stitched in place near the bottom edge; on a black wool base, with silver and black braided cord on all four sides of the tab; standard buckram backer; measuring 55 mm x 42 mm. The right collar tab displays a set of hand-embroidered silvered bullion wire tightly wrapped around a white fabric base in the shape of the SS runes, as well as the number 3 (regiment Der Führer); on a black wool base, with silver and black braided cord on all four sides of the tab; standard buckram backer; intact RZM tag with the maker mark faded but numbered “No. 102550”; measuring 55 mm x 42 mm; overall extremely fine condition.
