A picture postcard depicting a sideways profile of German Field Marshal of the Luftwaffe Hugo Sperrle; measuring 139 mm x 90 mm; currently mounted to a black piece of cardstock; labelled as Sperrle and with faint signature on bottom right corner in blue ink; near extremely fine condition with a rip in the picture.

Footnote: Hugo Sperrle (February 7, 1885 - April 2, 1953 was a German Field Marshal of the Luftwaffe during the Second War. He was responsible for the defense of the Western Front and the Mediterranean. In 1944, he became the Supreme Commander of the Luftwaffe in the West, but was dismissed when his heavily outnumbered Luftwaffe forces were unable to halt the Allied Landings in Normandy.
