Czechoslovakia, First Republic. An Exiles Liberation Medal, with Case, by Medallic Art Co.

Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse bearing a figure chained to pillars bearing Third Reich imagery, overlaying a Prague skyline and above an inscription of “CZECHOSLOVAKIA WILL BE FREE AGAIN”, the reverse bearing a Czechoslovakian coat of arms, unmarked, measuring 38 mm in diameter, accompanied by its period original case of issue, constructed of two pieces of card stock, the interior bearing a maker’s mark of “MEDALLIC ART CO., NEW YORK”, measuring 44 mm (w) x 44 mm (l) x 10 mm (h), with minor fatigue evident to the case, in overall extremely fine condition.
