Hesse. A Silver Alice Memorial Medal

(Silberne Alice-Medaille). A circular medal constructed of silver, the obverse depicting the leftward facing bust of the Grand Duchess Alice of Hesse, circumscribed by her name and title “ALICE GROSHERZOGIN VON HESSEN”; the reverse inscribed “IN MEMORIAM” within an open-ended laurel wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, measuring 42.18 mm (w) x 49.14 mm (h), weighing 30.2 g, on a pentagonal red, white, blue and green ribbon, very fine.
