Germany, NSDAP. A Jugend Belt Buckle

A rectangular belt buckle constructed of die stamped brass, a flat facia with a centrally located faceplate constructed of die stamped brass, two ropes, one inside the other make a circle in the centre, an eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons is located within the circle, the space formed between the two ropes bears two oak leaf branches tied with a ribbon at the bottom and the top is adorned by thinly spaced ribbing, with steel fittings, measuring 51.77 mm (w) x 37.09 mm (h), very fine.
