A lot of three War Merit decorations, including a War Merit Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR KRIEGSVERDIENST 1939” (“FOR WAR MERIT 1939”), unmarked, measuring 32.18 mm in diameter, weighing 10.9 grams, in very fine condition; a War Merit Cross II Class, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 47.39 mm (w) x 48.49 mm (h), weighing 22.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition, and; a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the reverse with a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 48.25 mm (w) x 48.29 mm (h), weighing 25.6 grams, in better than very fine condition.
