Insignia with a three-piece construction, in silvered and gilt aluminum, two-headed eagle bearing the monogram of King Peter II, measuring 39 mm (w) x 43.8 mm (h), purple wool backer, affixed to a convex aluminum base, six of seven prongs intact, scattered silvering and gilt wear, better than very fine.
Footnote: Peter II (September 6, 1923 - November 3, 1970) was the last King of Yugoslavia, reigning from 1934 to 1945. He was the last reigning member of the Karađorđević dynasty which came to prominence in the early nineteenth century.
