Austria, Imperial. A Teutonic Order Marian Cross Award Document to Hauptmann Kundmann, 1910

A certificate awarded by Archduke Eugen of Austria, Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights, giving permission to Hauptmann (captain) of the General Staff Corps Rudolf Kundmann to wear the Marian Cross, awarded to him by the Teutonic Order for his voluntary service in health care. Dated to Innsbruck on 24 September 1910 and signed by Eugen in black ink. Measuring 290 mm (w) x 417 mm (h), presenting multiple folding creases, a few age spots, and minimal scuffing of the edges, remains very fine.
