A lot of US Army field kit, including an unopened first aid packet, constructed of green-painted magnetic metal, consisting of two rectangular pieces with rounded edges, the top bearing a raised inscription of “WITH CRYSTALLINE SULFANILAMIDE”, the reverse bearing raised instructions and a maker’s mark of “KENDALL CO. - CHICAGO”, the edge with a pull tab and unspoiled seal, measuring 105 mm (w) x 60 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), age-appropriate loss of paint evident, in overall near extremely fine condition; a tin of rifle bore cleaner, constructed of magnetic metal, the exterior with a green paint bearing black ink instructions and a maker’s mark of “THE CURRAN CORPORATION, MALDEN, MASS.”, the top bearing its original screw cap, measuring 58 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), with some denting and loss of paint evident, in overall very fine condition, and; a tin for a ration fuel tablet, constructed of magnetic metal, the sides painted green and bearing black ink instructions with a maker’s mark of “SO-LO WORKS, INC., LOVELAND, OHIO”, the interior empty, measuring 65 mm (w) x 60 mm (h), with denting and loss of paint evident, in overall very fine condition.
