Constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised Reich Labour Service (RAD) logo in the form of a shovel head overlaid by a mobile swastika, set within a circular wheat stalk wreath, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs, the latter retaining a period original brown leather strap, maker marked “L. GOTTLIEB & SÖHNE, OBERSTEIN”, the buckle measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
