(Mädelschaftswimpel). Constructed of a triangular black rayon-cotton blended base, one side bearing a multi-piece cotton-blended HJ insignia set within a hand-embroidered white border, flanked by hand-embroidered white initials “B.D.M.J.” (“BUND DEUTSCHER MÄDEL/JUNGMÄDELBUND), in turn set above an inscription of “WATTWEILER/RHEINPFALZ” of identical composition, the reverse bearing a hand-embroidered Wolfsangel set horizontally, the hoist edge stitched with three metal suspension loops, unmarked, measuring 765 mm (w) x 460 mm (h), with minor soiling evident, in extremely fine condition.
