Germany, HJ. A Sharpshooter Badge

(HJ Schützenabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, around a black enameled bullseye target, bearing a central enameled HJ overlying crossed rifles, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/63” for Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring, 25 mm in diameter, with loss of finish and some chipping of the enamels evident, in very fine condition.
