Germany, RAD. A Reich Labour Service Enlisted Personnel Belt Buckle, by Gustav Brehmer

(Reichsarbeitsdienst Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised Reich Labour Service (RAD) insignia in the form of a shovel head overlaid by a mobile swastika, set within a circular wheat stalk wreath, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws retaining a period original brown leather strap, both the strap and buckle maker marked with the logos of Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
