Germany, Heer. A Heer EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle, by Josef Feix Söhne

(Heer Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed wreath bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD IS WITH US”) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the latter retaining a period original brown leather strap, both the buckle and strap maker marked with the logos of Josef Feix Söhne, Gablonz, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
