Germany, SS. A SS EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle, by Overhoff & Cie

Constructed of nickel-silver, the obverse bearing a raised SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, maker marked with the logo of Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
