Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse with swivel attachment claws and a clip connecting to a removable loop, the buckle marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/27” for Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid, the loop marked with a RZM logo and maker code “M4/46” for Wilhelm Schroder & Co., Lüdenscheid, measuring 57 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
