(SS Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “155/39” for F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
