Germany, SS. A SS EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle

(SS Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika, set within a ribbed wreath bearing a raised inscription of “MEINE EHRE HEIßT TREUE” (“MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with moderate oxidation evident, in very fine condition.
