Germany, Third Reich. A Civil Service 25 Year Long Service Decoration, with Case

(Dienstauszeichnung mit Etui). Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms and with an oak leaf wreath joining the quadrants, the obverse bearing a black swastika, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 40.88 mm (w) x 45.75 mm (h), weighing 20.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of two pieces of red card stock with a silvered number of “25” within a cogwheel embossed onto the lid, the interior with a maroon felt liner, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 100 mm (l) x 15 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
