In silver gilt with red, white, green and light blue enamels, handpainted centrepiece on the obverse, maker marked with a fasces flanked by the maker's assigned number ""25"" (Alberti & C.) on the left and the province code ""MI"" (Milan) on the right within a lozenge and marked ""950"" (silver) on the edge of the arm at 6 o'clock, measuring 49 mm (w) x 54.2 mm (h), without ribbon; and Breast Star: In silver gilt with red, white and green enamels, handpainted centrepiece on the obverse, maker marked ""ALBERTI & C. Co Vitt. Em. 17. MILANO"" on the reverse cartouche, measuring 79.5 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), vertical pinback flanked by dual prongs. Scattered chipping evident in the green enamels of the wreath on the reverse of the Badge and on the Breast Star, near extremely fine.
