Germany, Third Reich. A Butterknife from the Residence of AH

(AH Buttermesser). A rare butterknife retrieved from a dinnerware set at one of AH’s private residences, consisting of a silver handle trimmed with a decorative stylized Grecian border, the obverse bearing a raised monogram of AH, the reverse marked with a crown and crescent moon indicating German manufacture, a silver content number of “800”, and an illegible hallmark, the blade constructed of stainless steel, unmarked, and non-serrated, measuring 22 mm (w) x 255 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
