(Mützenabzeichen). A lot of four cap insignia, including a Heer Officer’s wreath and cockade, constructed of a padded dark green wool backer, the obverse bearing a hand-embroidered silver aluminum wire oak leaf wreath, around an aluminum cockade, the reverse retaining a partial wax paper liner with an illegible handwritten inscription, measuring 70 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; an Ordnungspolizei cap insignia, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse missing both of its attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of Gustav Brehmer, Markneukirchen, measuring 54 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in very fine condition; a Reichspost/Reichsbahn cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse with both attachment prongs intact, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code of “M1/62” for Gustav Hähl, Pforzheim, measuring 58 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Kyffhäuser League cap eagle, constructed of aluminum, the reverse with all three attachment prongs intact, marked “2”, measuring 66 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
